WHAT SAWS DO YOU NEED?

WHAT TOOLS DO YOU NEED?

LESSON OBJECTIVES

    - The different saw sizes
    - Rip tooth, Crosscut, Hybrid
    - Which saws are the most versatile
    - Which saw is best for you?

My Recommendations

Unlike the planes and chisels, a higher price doesn’t necessarily mean a better saw. A prime example of this is Japanese saws which are usually quite affordable and perfect for beginners. I personally prefer using a wester push saw simply because it’s what I trained with. But I would encourage you to try both and see that you prefer.Unlike the planes and chisels, a higher price doesn’t necessarily mean a better saw.
